Easy Maintenance
The Scale Control Filter is easy to maintain. The opaque housing eliminates algae growth that clear housings suffer from, thus avoiding the use of difficult-to-handle, unhealthy chemicals for cleaning. The easy to read indicator will inform you when your cartridge has reached its capacity of filtering dirt, sediment and other undesirable contaminants. This will occur annually or semi-annually depending on your water quality. An easy to use wrench is included to change cartridges.
